EchoStar Adds Satellite Spectrum Executive to its Regulatory Team

ENGLEWOOD, CO, May 1, 2019 — EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS) announced today that Kim Baum has joined the company as vice president of regulatory affairs. With a proven track record in defining and executing complex spectrum and regulatory strategies to enable business opportunities, Ms. Baum will be responsible for regulatory policy and spectrum issues on behalf of EchoStar and its subsidiary companies, EchoStar Satellite Services, LLC, and Hughes Network Systems, LLC.

Ms. Baum brings more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including positions at the FCC, Astrolink, Motorola and most recently as vice president of spectrum management and development Americas at SES. She will report to Jennifer A. Manner, senior vice president of regulatory affairs.
